A former Acting Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Chief Jide Adebayo has been confirmed dead. The Kwara State indigene reportedly gave up the ghost in a Lagos hospital on Thursday after suffering a brief illness. Naija News understands that the deceased is survived by his wife, Alice Ifedun, children and grandchildren. An ally to the deceased, Rtd Maj.-Gen.
